Dakota Mailing List Event Profiles

WELCOME!!!

This is the place to submit your DML event profile. This process uses the same software as the Member Profiles, so your profile submission will be entirely automated.

The purpose of this page is to try to help out people who are interested in getting together with fellow DML'ers. The usual process so far has been to post a list of interested folks on the DML itself, but that can get confusing pretty quick. This will allow the event "organizer" to maintain a page with the relevant info, people who are coming, etc. It will also allow interested people to contact the organizer to get themselves added to the list, vote on a location, etc.

Administrative section

The top portion of this form is treated differently than the bottom portion. The info up here is used by the software, and is technically not a part of your profile. This is why you must enter some info address twice. Its mildly annoying, but I think its a small price to pay. Just cut 'n paste. :-)

Name (of the event):

Please enter the name and/or location of the event here. Examples might be "Mopar Nationals", "Toronto, Canada", California, "Milan Dak Attack", etc. I realize that the location might be unknown at first until the details get hashed out, but just put down the info you've got, and you can always refine it later.
(Note: This is what the software will use to sort the events by name.)

Your E-Mail address:

This is the address that errors and information will be sent to, such as "invalid password" errors, etc. When your profile is added, a confirmation will be sent to this address to tell you what your UID is and to remind you what your password is.

Your password:

Verify your password: (Type it again)

If you don't want a password, leave the password fields blank. Just don't blame me if someone changes or deletes your profile! :-) The password is case sensitive!

The following math question must be answered correctly in order for your profile to post:
      2 + 3 = (input answer as a number, don't spell it out)

Add a new profile
Overwrite your existing profile
Delete your profile

Your Unique ID:

Overwriting or deleting your existing profile requires you to enter your unique ID. If you're adding a new profile, leave this box blank.

You will need your password and your unique ID if you want to change or delete your profile in the future. The UID tells me who you are, and the password tells me how truthful you're being. ;-)

Profile section

This is the second portion of the form. All of the fields below are optional. If you don't want to fill in a particular field, then don't! :-) Any fields that you leave blank won't even show up on your profile when people view it. A few of the fields on this form are special. Whatever you enter into these special fields will become a hyperlink. What you enter will be the destination of the link, as well as its description. You can have more than one item in these fields. A space or a carridge return will seperate them. These fields will be marked with this annoying LED: (And you will like it!!!) ;-)
