This was recorded at Houston Raceway Park 1-15-99. I ran 14.86 (hence the file name) @ 92.67mph. What to listen for: The file starts out with my pre-stage burn out... well really I only squeak 'em. Be sure to listen to my opponent's burn out, sounds real intimidating huh. It was a late model chevy truck, after about 330' I left him. After the burn out you can hear me stage at about 1500 - 1600 rpms. Then you can hear me leave the line, with some first gear rubber. Count the shifts and in 3rd if you listen closely you can hear some detonation. This was with the MP SBEC, about 1/4 tank of gas and a bottle off 104+ octane booster. I plan on looking into a way to eliminate this possibly with an MSD ignition retard control. What you will need to listen: The file is encoded in Mpeg layer 3 audio or MP3 as it is commonly reffered to. You will need a player which supports this type of format. There are many around but the best one by far is WinAmp.
