Experiences with the SERVICE department at Sundance Dodge

Sundance Dodge
SERVICE Department Experience No. 0001
Name: George White (georgewhite@rmci.net)
Date: 1-?-91
Rating: (terrible)
Description: Plug wires leaking due to lousey Champion plugs. This truck is a disaster. The dealer has installed two sets of valve lifters. The oil pressure is all over the place. The lifers still hammer from time to time. The idiot mechanic cracked a grade #8 bolt that goes through the mount for the air conditioning pump, water pump, timing case and into the engine block. The broken part came out into the fan and wound up on top of the engine. The service writer offered to fix it for $100.00. I had to tear down the front of the engine myself to extract the broken part of the bolt. The bolts on an engine should not be installed using an impact wrench! I also had a minor accedent with this vehicle and allowed the dealer to repair the paint which is now pealing off in large sections. This involves the roof and the hood where they repainted the flames that Maco had put on that didn't peal or crack. The paint they won't replace. Anyone that would take their car to Sundance Dodge has no idea how bad they are there.
