I have found that if I don't use Chevron for a long while , then get a
fill-up of it , I will get dramatically better fuel mileage for that one
tank .

If I try it again with the very next tank , I won't see the same great
mileage .

I have seen this on my truck , my Dad's Thunderchicken , and several other
vehicles .
