I have a '98 (~7K miles) 4x4, 3.55, V8, Auto but no sure grip... I
listened for any whine on the way to the golf course this morning...
Nothing. Cruised at 65 with the rear sliding glass open and everything
sounded fine... Took it higher (~85) same deal... Looks like a trip to
the dealer for you :(

Is this truk a 4x4??

I had the same sound on my 92 V8 4x4.....it ended up need a major overhaul
(under warranty)...TWICE.
