Here's a note from an email I received from one of my friends out in Hawaii.

The Dakota is still running okay, with about 97K plus miles it's doing
pretty good for an old 90's model truck. I see all those new models running
around and wish I could be driving one of those. I sure like my truck and
its a real work horse. I recently hauled a load of sand weighing 1.2 tons
from the local quarry and the truck handled great. I was impressed, the
suspension can really take the abuse and no steering problems.
