        First, a belated welcome to the list. We need more female influence
around here.
        Second, I hope, for your engine's sake, that you're getting out on the
highway for a good hour-long (or longer) run on a regular basis (weekly)
if you're driving to work. Short trips are murder on your engine.
Please don't take this as me "jumping all over you," I just want you to
make sure you're taking good care of your engine. Even the best
marathon runner enjoys a sprint now and again; And sprinters go out for
long jogs as well.

        Oil change recommendations are 3 months or 3000 miles, whichever comes
first. I imagine the oil just sitting there and not getting circulated
much isn't too healthy.
