  Yep, if its any consolation, you've probably saved me a lot of money! :-)
(I was considering the 9.75" on the theory that its a lot stronger.) As much
as it pains me to say so, the current top contender on my list is a built Ford
9". I plan to cram 600-800hp through that rearend and if I ever find a way to
put together my dream powerplant (twin turbo EFI 528ci crate HEMI), my torque
and HP will be into the quadruple digits. =) (now to win the lottery...) ;-)
