Truck alarms

Hey all,
A few quick questions, I am looking for some opinions. I recently had my
truck broken into and my CD-headunit stolen. The way it was broken into was
the thief shoved a crow bar into my door near the latch and then push the
little bar up to unlock it. So now I have a hole in my drivers door and no
stereo. I need some kinda head unit and I don't want it to be stolen again.
So I guess I wonder what kinda of alarm any one would suggest... I think
that as long as I have the blinking LED they will leave my stereo alone, of
course I plan to get a detachable face too. But in any case can anyone give
me any good pointers on what to get and what not to get... and what is out
there and cheap. As for the hole in the door I am thinking either a good
bondo job or more than likely a piece of sheet steel and some rivets. Thanks
in advance.

P.s.
Sorry about the Lebanon Valley bit, I was there just only for a few min I
had a buddy prodding me to hurry and alot of work to do at home while I was
there.. I didn't catch any of the DML guys at their trucks..
